Essential cover - the core of your healthcare plan
Essential Cover is the only part of our private healthcare plan that is, in fact, essential. From this basis, you can then start to pick and choose from the other additional options of our private healthcare plan to meet your needs.
On its own, Essential Cover is a solid private healthcare plan that offers excellent value healthcare cover. It could be all you need, or you may want to treat it as a base for building a more personalised private healthcare plan.

- Radiotherapy and chemotherapy
- Ambulance transport between hospitals
- Parent accommodation
- CT, MRI and PET Scans at a scanning centre listed in the Directory of Hospitals
