Pull a Plane for Julia's House

Thursday, October 02, 2014

A team of our employees are currently training for the Dorset Plane Pull, taking place at Hurn Airport on 25th August. With money being raised for over six different charities, we have chosen to support our charity of the year - Julia's House.

A Health-on-Line training regime has been put in place by Head Coach, and Sales Department Manager Will Kay, which includes weekly evening Health-on-Line boot camp sessions at the beach to work on strength and fitness. Lee Oldroyd, Senior Sales Consultant at Health-on-Line explains:

"As a team we are trying to raise as much money as possible for Julia's House. Having been involved with the Dorset Plane Pull previously this is a fantastic way of raising money and bonding a team at the same time - our beach training is one way of doing this".

Our team will have challenge on our hands with the Dorset Plane Pull - having to pull a Boeing 737, weighing in at 35,000kg, a distance of 50 metres. However, with 20 employees taking part, we have set our sights high on raising money for Julia's House.

Customer Reviews

  • “Excellent customer service. The Heath plan was catered to my needs and requirements. I'm very impressed with the low price. Had I known how affordable health insurance was before I'd have taken it out years ago.”
