Employees at Health-on-Line transformed their offices in the Charitable Halloween spirit, raising over £250 for Macmillan Caring Locally and Dorset Mind.
Customer Service, IT and Claims staff fully embraced the Halloween spirit at Health-on-Line to transform their offices into a thrilling extravaganza, featuring different challenges throughout the day based on current service levels. Pumpkin Pong, Build a Skeleton, and a Halloween Bake Off were just some of the challenges that contributed to the spooky spirit with prizes also being awarded for Best Dressed and Best Team Decorations.
Although a private medical insurer, Health-on-Line aims to operate differently to most, focusing on creating a happy and healthy workplace for their employees, which ultimately they believe will result in a better service being offered to their customers.
Heidi Patel, Customer Service Team Manager commented,
“We believe that engaging our staff, keeping them motivated, and making Health-on-Line a great place to work will all contribute to the morale of our employees. Ultimately happy staff for us should translate to happy customers which is the service that Health-on-Line strive to produce. It is through days like this that we are able to make Health-on-Line an enjoyable place to work”.
The money raised from this day will go towards the charitable work that Health-on-Line undertakes for their chosen charities this year, Dorset Mind and Macmillan Caring Locally. Over the last four years the health insurer has raised over £40,000 for the charities selected by its staff each year, as well as having a fund available to support its employees in their own fundraising efforts outside of work, at events such as Tough Mudder or the Bournemouth Marathon.
