On Saturday 9th May ‘superheroes’ took to Bournemouth seafront ready to take part in the ‘Sponsored Superhero Fun Run’ organised by Shore Idea’s team of youngsters ‘Team Achieve’.

Mentored by Fiona Carter and Will Kay from Health-on-Line the team were ready to raise funds for their selected charity Help the Heroes.

Superheroes of all ages turned out for the fun-filled event ready to take part in either the 5k or 2k run alongside the beach. With the sun shining down on them, the fun run was a great success with the team managing to raise an impressive £718 for their chosen charity Help the Heroes.

Fiona Carter, Brand and Marketing Manager at Health-on-Line said:

“It was an honour to help mentor Team Achieve, and help them work towards their goal of raising money for Help for Heroes.

"The boys from Bournemouth School were fantastic and it was their commitment that helped make the event such a success.”

Shore Ideas is a social enterprise project aimed at helping young people aged from 13-21 years-old in Bournemouth to realise their entrepreneurial potential through the organisation of a community project for charity.

The programme provides each Team with seed funding, resources and mentoring to help execute their project.

Health-on-Line is continually exploring ways in which the company can support the local community. This initiative sits as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme at Health-on-Line, supporting various local charities throughout 2015.

Customer Reviews

  • “Excellent customer service. The Heath plan was catered to my needs and requirements. I'm very impressed with the low price. Had I known how affordable health insurance was before I'd have taken it out years ago.”
