Juggling elf is a hit at Health-on-Line’s annual Children’s Christmas Party

Now in its third year, Health-on-Line spread the festive cheer at their annual Children’s Christmas Party with the help of Santa’s grotto, arts and craft tables, a children’s entertainer and Christmas-themed face painting.

Taking place at The Orchid Hotel in Bournemouth on the 11th December, children’s entertainer Jamie Jigsaw dressed as an elf and showed off his juggling skills as he greeted everyone upon arrival. Set up for Health-on-Line employees and their children, the party was aimed at 3-8 year-olds and was a fun-filled afternoon full of activities to keep them entertained.

There were prizes to be won as children were invited to colour in a Christmas design beforehand and bring it along to be judged. They also had the opportunity to write a letter to Santa and post it in our Santa post box or give it to the man himself. Santa’s grotto was a big hit of the party. Surrounded by bubbles from the bubble machine, each child received a present from Santa and had their photo taken which will be available to keep.

Fiona Carter, Brand and Marketing Manager at Health-on-Line said of the reasoning behind the event:

“We wanted to produce an event that is held in recognition of our staff’s families and makes them feel part of the Health-on-Line community.

“We want to build a company that not only looks after our staff, but also their families too… the Children’s Christmas party is one of the ways that we can do this.”

With it increasing in popularity each year, Fiona said: “We’ve had some brilliant feedback and numbers have been increasing year on year! Staff really appreciate this and the kids love it too, especially our children’s entertainer.”

With a whole host of games, tricks and audience participation, Jamie Jigsaw kept the kids entertained. They also had the option to get crafty with our activity tables including hat making, colouring and puzzles, or have their face painted with a Christmas-themed pattern.

Vanessa Lapierre, Business Support Assistant at Health-on-Line, went along with her daughter and said of the event:

“She absolutely loved it. We got her face painted, watched the entertainment from afar but thought it was very funny. She particularly enjoyed the craft table and wore a crown for the all evening until we got home.

“She was delighted to win the colouring competition and has taken her present home and said she’ll wait until Christmas day to open it.”

  • “Excellent customer service. The Heath plan was catered to my needs and requirements. I'm very impressed with the low price. Had I known how affordable health insurance was before I'd have taken it out years ago.”
