Here at SecureHealth, part of Health-on-Line, we’re looking for experienced and successful Sales Consultants to join our fantastic field based team. Your role will be to attend appointments with individuals, sole traders and SMEs to provide advice on our full range of products including private medical insurance, group risk, protection and health cash plans and find a tailored solution that meets the needs of our customers. Our Sales Consultants are given second-to-none support and coaching from our Business Development Managers and Compliance Support Managers – we’re incredibly proud of our strong management team and the wealth of experience they bring to Health-on-Line.

Much of your day will be travelling to see potential new customers to build rapport with customers, taking an empathetic approach (as medical experiences can be a sensitive topic) and conducting a thorough fact find exercise to really understand their circumstances and their demands and needs. You will need to prioritise these needs and making appropriate recommendations to ensure good customer outcomes. So, you’ll need to enjoy travelling, meeting and speaking to people!
You will be working a 40 hour week, but will have to show flexibility to ensure you can meet the needs of our customers.
We’re looking for people with proven sales experience within regulated environments. Our highly competitive basic salary banding is between £24,000 and £35,000 basic - dependent on your experience. To achieve the higher end of the salary banding you will have solid and proven experience within a PMI Sales role. In addition to this generous salary we also have a fantastic bonus structure of up to £35,000 (for the top salary banding) so we’re looking for customer focussed people who like to be rewarded well for their success!
Please note that is it paramount to have a full and valid driving licence, not provisional, as this is a field based role.
All our new starters go through a detailed and thorough training programme delivered by our knowledgeable training team and Business Development Managers. This will be in a classroom environment where you’ll d learn everything you need to know about our company and products. After the initial training you will have further classroom training with our Business Development and Compliance Support Managers to focus on the practical aspects of your role.
Once your training has finished you’ll be coached and supervised by our Business Development and Compliance Support Managers as you meet new customers and build on the foundations you have gained during the training programme.
We really want to help you be the best, so we’ll offer ongoing coaching and training sessions, whether it be role plays with your Business Development Manager, support and guidance from your Compliance Support Manager or attending training and briefing sessions with our other sales consultants. All we ask is that you bring the right attitude and be willing to learn and work hard!
