In your first weeks with us, you’ll take part in our comprehensive induction programme. Based in a purpose-built classroom environment, you’ll learn all about our company ethos, our background, and the products we sell. After induction, you’ll be able to join your team and receive training based on your role via your manager.
In 2017 alone our Training Team delivered total of 1,524 hours of induction training. There were 18 inductions held during the year, consisting of 125 sales staff and non-sales staff.
In addition, there were 138 sessions of non-induction training across the business, totalling a further 288 hours of training delivered by the training team.
There are regular training sessions, across all departments at Health-on-Line, which allow our employees to keep up to date with product changes, learn about new procedures within the company, and refresh their knowledge of industry wide concepts.
As part of your development and training, we don’t want to just help develop you from a work point of view but as a person also. This is why we launched our leadership training course, based on the principles of the best-selling leadership book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
Taught by our in-house personal development coach, the course takes place at Branksome Community Centre with picturesque views of the beach and sea, allowing you to totally submerse yourself in the training environment.
In addition to this, there are also opportunities for employees to complete NVQ courses in different professional skills. For aspiring managers, Health-on-Line also sporadically runs Leadership Academies, aimed at junior managers. Further to all of this, Health-on-Line offers all of it’s staff regular ongoing training opportunities, at managerial discretion.
At every stage of your time with us, you’ll have the support you need to progress. Whether it’s on-the-job training, coaching or classroom learning, you’ll be given the tools and the knowledge you need to grow both personally and professionally. We will offer a mix of formal and informal development opportunities as well as team building activities, and you will be able to develop personally through involvement in the Your Voice committee and Corporate Social Responsibility programme and dedicated charity panel.
All of this is designed to allow you to deliver your best in a culture that rewards excellence.
