Cycling for Mosaic

Health-on-Line employees took part in a cycling challenge within their offices last week – cycling the equivalent combined distance of Bournemouth to Glasgow in just one day, whilst managing to raise over £500 for Mosaic, a local charity that provides support for bereaved children.

The event, supported by Bournemouth Fitness First, saw employees each cycle 15 minutes on an exercise bike, placed on each of the three floors that Health-on-Line occupy in their Lansdowne offices, as a race to see which floor could cycle the furthest within a day. Fiona Carter, member of the Health-on-Line Charity panel explains,

“Each team within Health-on-Line took part in the cycle event which ran all day to raise money for Mosaic. As a company we believe the work Mosaic do in supporting bereaved children is invaluable, and would like to do all that we can to support them – cycling for charity being one way of doing this! The event certainly raised team spirit within the Health-on-Line offices, and was a tremendous success in raising over £500 for such a worthy cause”.

As part of their CSR programme, Health-on-Line will continue to raise money for Mosaic, as well as Dorset Air Ambulance, and Hope for Food throughout the year, through both internal and external initiatives. Health-on-Line’s commitment to CSR follows their success in supporting Julia’s House in 2014, raising over £6000 through internal events.

Health-on-Line’s CSR programme has expanded significantly since it first launched, due to the company tripling in size since 2012 after being acquired by AXA PPP healthcare. Health-on-Line currently employ over 380 staff, with ambitious recruitment targets for 2015 within their sales departments.

If you would like to register to attend Health-on-Line’s sales assessment evening, taking place on Wednesday 1st April, please email your CV and covering letter to the HR team at Health-on-Line via recruitment@health-on-line.co.uk.
