What is switch?

Switch is also known as Continued Medical Exclusions (CME) and refers to when an individual or company transfers or switches their PMI from one insurer to another - without losing continuation of cover or having new medical underwriting applied.

How to Switch?

Changing insurer is relatively simple. You are entitled to make a switch at any point during your policy’s term. But it makes most sense to do so at the end of a year, so that you don’t lose out on any payments.

Once you’ve decided on a new policy and informed your current provider, get in touch with the Health-on-Line team and:

  • We’ll show you how Health-on-Line can help, and give you a quote
  • All we’ll need is a copy of your current membership certificate and insurance documents
