As one of the fastest growing individual health insurance companies in the UK, we have continued to look after our customer’s health since our establishment in 2000. We pride ourselves on being able to offer our customers health insurance that is not only affordable but is also tailored to suit them which has remained a part of our ethos to this day. Health-on-Line also provides reassurance by being part of the AXA Group, who have been around for nearly 75 years, and paid out £935m in healthcare benefits in 2015.
We understand that health insurance can be confusing which is why we were the first insurer within our industry to introduce a modular style product. Offering this type of cover not only gave our customers the flexibility of being able to tailor their policy to suit them but also meant that it was more affordable, as you would only pay for what you needed.
The rise of digital health has also meant a new and fresh approach can be taken to private medical insurance which we have fully embraced as a commitment to looking after our customer’s health. As a part of this we introduced our Private GP Cover Option, covering our customers for online video consultations with a AXA Doctor at Hand GP, with the added benefit of having their prescriptions delivered straight to their door as well as being able to book an appointment with a doctor at a time that suits them.
Health-on-Line customers are able to manage their policy online with our online portal, Customer Online. Customer Online puts our customers at the heart of their health insurance cover. From being able to access their policy documents from a central location, access to customer benefits such as Nuffield Health Gym discount to tracking their claim.
As well as our digital ambitions, we are recognised particularly for the service we provide to our customers which we have received awards for. This year we were awarded Platinum status from Feefo for holding our Gold award for three years in a row, meaning we have now achieved a Platinum Trusted Accreditation from new customers.
